Father's Day Cake

I promised last week that I would post up some pictures of my Father's Day cake that Tara was going to bake. She did make one to take over to her family as well but it wasn't a fancy one and it totally slipped my mind to snap a few photos, my apologies!

Another view.

And a bit closer.

We took the cake to the Drive-In movie and watched a double feature of Hulk and Ironman. It was a fun night! I hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I liked the cake! She's really quite talented, isn't she?

She did a great job on that cake. She must be doing well with the cake decorating classes. Sounds like you had a good Father's Day.

That cake is absolutely beautiful! Maybe a side business in the works?

I was given an award for being a creative blogger. I am passing it along to you.

Thanks for the comments guys! While Tara will tell you it wasn't that great, I agree with the rest of you. It was an awesome cake!

We've talked a bit about her possibly opening a bakery sometime in the future. She likes the idea, but starting is the hard part. Until then, she enjoys making them and practicing with special events.
