That said, I couldn&#39;t have answered a lot of these questions until I&#39;d written half the book because it was the writing out that helped me work out what I wanted to say and it wasn&#39;t what I thought I wanted to say. My username is FarEom. :)<br /><br />I&#39;m not much of an outliner myself, but I do take part in a bit of preparation. I&#39;m mostly a character profiler. I feel that anything I need to know to begin a very rough first draft of a novel is included in my characters, and a profile will definitely help me to flush all of that out. I think I&#39;ll take a look at the snowflake method. It seems relatively character-driven, and, though I&#39;ve heard about it, I&#39;ve never really taken the time to read up on it and find out what it&#39;s about. haha Laziness? Perhaps.<br /><br />Anyways, good luck with NaNo this year!
